Icebergs

By Kaitlyn R. Sullivan

Icebergs drifting in a line,
one by one and side by side.
I know you see them, seemingly fine.
With what’s below will you collide?

One by one and side by side,
all our worries and fears intertwine.
With what’s below will you collide?
We’ll crash as we align.

All our worries and fears intertwine.
Isolation is only a frame of mind.
We’ll crash as we align.
We hold one another below the divide.

Isolation is only a frame of mind.
I know you see, seemingly fine.
We hold one another below the divide.
Icebergs drifting in a line.

At age 11, Kaitlyn R. Sullivan found poetry, which in turn saved her. She let it guide her through life's curvy, tribulation-riddled roads. Kaitlyn finds that the best ways to approach writing are to simply write when and on whatever you can. She thrives on following the fleeting thoughts of one's mind into a realm of possibility.
